I love my brownie pans! That is what I call them but the Corning Ware P-322 Utility Pan has many names. It is also referred to as a square cake pan, brownie pan, square baking dish, and many others I imagine. The versatility is what draws me to Corning Ware. This piece is perfect for whatever dish you make. It is perfect for baking, roasting or serving. I recently used it to serve Ceviche during a family gathering. I used the Corning Ware 9” P-309 Pie Plate to hold the tortilla chips. Both pieces looked great on the table.
The brownie pan is 8” in length, 8” in width and 2” deep. I have the Spice of Life and Blue Corning Ware pattern pictured here. I was so excited to add these to my collection that I photographed them prior to cleaning them. A quick spray of oven cleaner and dawn dish detergent cleaned them nicely.
I have found that pricing will vary, of course a thrift store or yard sale is not the same as an antique store or online (remember shipping will add to the price). I would feel comfortable paying $10-$20 for one of these. In my area any roasting or baking tray is scarce, so I will pay more for them than others might.
I love to see your photos! Please tag me on Instagram @corningwarecorner to share how you use your Corning Ware.
