I use my Centrua dinnerware for special occasions. It took me years to collect the few pieces I have, so I am very careful with them. They are dishwasher safe but I prefer to hand wash them. One thing you should know about this vintage dinnerware - - it is NOT microwave safe.

I am still looking for the matching bowls, those are plain blue. No cornflower pattern.
I recently made banana bread in a bundt pan for the round shape so that I could use my cake stand. The cake stand is plain white with a vinyl sticker. I have some for sale on my Mercari link.
I served it as dessert in the 8 5/8 inch luncheon plates. The smaller plates are 6 5/8 inch and have the pattern in the very center. I’ll share my recipe for banana bread. I have actually finally decided on my preferred recipe. I have probably made all the banana bread variations that exists (lol).
I also make it in the 9X5 CorningWare loaf pan. If you do, bake for 50-60 minutes.

Banana Bread
3 Bananas, smashed
1 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour
½ Cup White Sugar
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
¼ Cup Melted Butter
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Grease the bunt pan or loaf pan
3. In a mixing bowl combine bananas, sugar, eggs and butter together and mix
4. In a separate bowl mix flour and baking soda
5. Add the flour into the banana mixture and stir until batter is mixed
6. Stir the salt into the batter and pour the batter into the bundt pan/loaf pan
7. Bake for 35 minutes in the bundt pan or 50-60 in the loaf pan
I hope you enjoy this bread. Please email me if you’d like to purchase vinyl stickers in the blue cornflower pattern (vertical or horizontal) or Country Festival. They are 3x3 and
For $5. That includes shipping. I had a bulk order so, that just covers my cost and I know others will enjoy them too!
