Centura by Corning | Blue Cornflower | Dinner Plates

I want to feature my Centura Dinner Plates in Blue Cornflower. These plates are very functional and easy to hand wash. They are decorated in the Blue Cornflower pattern to compliment the Corning Ware cookware.

The back of the plates are marked Centura by Corning Ware. They are perfect to serve lunch or dinner or in my case an appetizer. Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas. A friendly reminder that these are not microwave friendly dishes.

Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas

Ingredients

1 lbs. Shrimp, Cooked and cut in half or small pieces

4 Limes, juiced

¼ Red Onion, diced

1 Jalapeno, seeded and diced

3 Roma Tomatoes, seeded and diced

2 Tablespoons of chopped cilantro

1 Avocado diced or sliced

8 Corn Tostadas

Salt and hot sauce to taste

Directions

In a large bowl combine shrimp, lime juice, onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, and cilantro. Season with salt to your taste.

Serve the ceviche on the tostadas with slices of avocado on top. Add hot sauce to your taste.

For presentation, you can layer the tostada with the shrimp side up on top like mine.
