Beef Barbacoa

This is the second time I make this Barbacoa in the Instant Pot. I love it and want to share it with you. I used my Spice of Life (1970’s) 2 Quart casserole dish to serve and store it.


You can serve barbacoa on tacos, burritos, nachos or add it to a salad. You can use it in many ways. My sweet grandma made fresh tortilla, so tacos for us!

Barbacoa

Ingredients

2 lbs Beef Chuck Roast

2 cups Beef Broth

3 Garlic Cloves

1/4 Onion

Salt and Pepper

2 TBS Olive Oil

Directions

  1. Season meat with salt and pepper

  2. Heat oil on Sauté setting and sear meat for 2 minutes on all sides.

  3. Pour Beef Broth and add onion and garlic.

  4. High Pressure for 90 minutes and do natural release

  5. Take meat out, shred and serve.

2 Lbs Carne De Res (Chuck Roast)

2 Tazas de Caldo de Res (líquido)

3 Ajos

1/4 Cebolla

Sal y pimienta al gusto

2 Cucharadas de Aseite


  1. Sazona carne con sal y pimienta al gusto.

  2. En función SAUTÉ, saltear la carne por 2 minutos en cada lado.

  3. Agregar el caldo, cebolla y ajos.

  4. Alta presión por 90 minutos y dejar salir la presión natural

  5. Saca la carne y desebra antes de servir.
